Taken aside from films, this is a very sad day for football. For Newcastle United, and fans of football around the Country and across the world.
He was a true gentleman of the game and just a joy to listen to and watch.
I was there the day he became Newcastle manager and it was so an occasion. I started going to games in his era and it was fantastic.

Sad news, he was a great manager. He was England manger when first started watching football in the 80’s. We still haven’t found anyone better nearly twenty years later.

Nope we certainly have not, he was a true gentleman and such a legend of the game. Newcastle will never find anyone quite like him.
