After the sadness of Patrick Swayze’s passing away I watched “Ghost” the other night and proceeded this pattern by watching “Dirty Dancing” last night. So I decided to have a poll to see which is everyone’s favorite from the two of Patrick’s most well loved films . . . and reasons why if you want to share.

Ghost surprised me because it was better than I thought it would be, but I can watch Dirty dancing over and over and never get tired of it. Has to be the winner.

So I have to chose between: a grim tale of unwanted pregnancy and the problems of back street abortions in early 60’s America. Or a film that no one remembers except the potters wheal scene (by the way I wonder if many people watching that scene know the origins or the meaning of the song Unchained Melody?)
How about a more bloke orientated poll including Point Break and Road House or Red Dawn.
By the way I voted for dirty dancing, the lesser of two evils and it has a couple of good songs on the soundtrack.
