The 2010 Empire Film Awards will be revealed on 28th March.

If you want your favorite film or actor/actress etc to win an award head over to the website and make your votes.

I like the Empire Awards because movies which may not always get awards are given them because the public and people who are fans of movies make all the votes.

Who will you be voting for?

The current trend around the movie blogging world seems to be posting lists and general posts about your favorite movies from the past decade. Sex and the City 2 (2010) Trailer

I cannot believe that I have been slipping so much over the holiday period to actually miss the first trailer which has been released for SATC2. Not really much shown in the trailer expect for some of the outfit’s and nice shots of Manhattan. But as you may already know I am a massive SATC fan so anything thats released for the movie is very good in my world. So here is the trailer:

Chicago (2002) / Nine (2009)

While I was writing my review for Nine (and even watching it) I was trying not to compare it to Chicago. Mainly because I love Chicago and it is one of my favorite films ever, so to compare another musical directed by Rob Marshall on one viewing would not be very fair. So I have decided to take a deeper look into both movies and not really say which one is better, but to show comparisons.

A New Year = Lots of New Movies

I have to admit that I have totally slacked with reviews and even general posts on my blog over the Christmas and New Year period. Mainly due to the fact that I have surprisingly not watched very many movies at all. Which was not my plan, I usually find it a good time to catch up on some movies which I have missed watching in the past but this did not happen this year. I have not actually been to the cinema in quite a few weeks now and have yet to see Avatar. I am planning on Nine tomorrow, we are going to be entering a busy time at the cinema with a lot of new movies coming out which should mainly be good as it is awards season soon.

So I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year . . . who can believe it is 2010 already ?!?! Where does the time go!!

What are you looking forward to movie wise this year?
