Harry Potter Challenge – Day 3: Is there any of the films adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book

The two main parts which I felt were very important in the books yet over looked in the films were when Ron and Hermione become prefects and Harry did not. This allowed us to see where some of the anger came between them, with them having to do the prefect duties and leaving Harry alone (especially on the train to school).

The other has to be when Percy falls out with his family and no longer speaks to them, this was massive in the books. Yet nothing in the films. I thought it was important, due to how close the Weasley family are. Which goes across quite a few of the books, and he just isn’t really mentioned at all in the films. I am sure they could have at least had a few references in the films without a massive increase to the running time.
