Before seeing Blithe Spirit on Wednesday I managed to catch a glimpse and a couple of photos of Dame Angela heading into the theatre for the matinee performance. She was quickly ushered into the stage door which was a little bit of a shame as there wasn’t really that many people waiting to see her go in.
I’m not massively experienced in heading to the stage door before or after a show, only done it a few times now. But I really did feel excited seeing Dame Angela walking so close past me on her way inside.

You should have thrown a typewriter at her to sign. Actually that could end in manslaughter.
