Three childhood friends who’s lives were changed forever in the summer of 1975 when Dave Boyle was taken away by two men. His two friends Jimmy and Sean were left watching as he was put into the back of the car. Then in the present day a tragedy brings the three back together again.

Sarah Tobias suffers a brutal gang rape one night in a bar, which wasn’t stopped by anyone and some men encouraged it and cheered the three on who committed the horrific offence. Lawyer Kathryn Murphy must change her views in order to fight for justice.

The title of the next instalment in the James Bond franchise is named Shatterhand. The film which seems to have been talked about forever without much really happening in terms of filming, well of course expect Danny Boyle leaving the project although he was always a strange choice as he was never going to have creative control.
But we do now have a title for Daniel Craig’s final appearance as 007!
This is usually one of the easiest categories to predict but continuing in 2019s absolutely crazy award season it could actually be a rather tricky one. That is a good thing I guess in terms of performances as the award has been shared really between two actresses over the awards season period. So it could have a slight upset if you are having one as your firm favourite.
Let’s take another look at the five actresses who are nominated this year in a supporting role.
This year for the Best Actress in a Leading Role is a pretty strong one in all honesty and I personally think that is a fantastic thing for women in film! Considering everything that has happened in a past year or two we have seen a rise in good roles for women.
With the ceremony fast approaching let’s take a final look at the five nominees and I will try by best to explain who I think is going to win and who I actually want to win!
