During the film I have to say the moment that music hit and he danced down the steps it was utterly outstanding. Well someone on YouTube has created a whole music video to the song and I have to say it is the perfect choice for this weeks Musical Moment! Joaquin Phoenix is unreal in the leading role (check out my review here) giving a truly haunting performance.

That seen was so out of the blue and a ton of fun. I was like this ever-so-brief moment of levity before we got back into the darkness.

Oh yes! I adored the use of music throughout the film but that scene was on another level.

Do think it’s a shame they used a Gary Glitter song.

In all honesty when I was watching the film and it came on. I was like I’m sure that’s a Gary Glitter song … which I found quite shocking but it fits so well within the scene. It’s credited as The Glitter Band on the album listing.
