Theatre: Imelda Staunton to star in Hello, Dolly!

Another amazing bit of news about Imelda Staunton and both Came around the same time. She is returning to the West End to play Dolly in Hello, Dolly! I am sure she will be as outstanding as ever and make me want to head down to London for a lovely trip. I have seen her in the last three productions she has starred in Gypsy (twice), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Follies. I have also been lucky enough to see Hello, Dolly on Broadway with Bette Midler so I hope they use that version of the show as it was visually stunning!

Jenna Russell has also been announced in the cast with the rest to be named later.

A 30 week run starting on 11th August 2020.

Trailer: Cats (2019)

The second trailer for Cats has landed and I have to admit that although I am super excited for the film regardless of what everyone is saying about the film. I found the first trailer to be better than this one though. But I guess if you haven’t seen the stage show before then it gives you a little bit about the story (although it doesn’t really have much of a story).

Happy 77th Birthday Martin Scorsese

It seems fitting that I went to see The Irishman on Martin Scorsese’s birthday! Throughly enjoyed the film and his work is always outstanding. Happy birthday Marty!
