Legendary rock band the Foo Fighters mov into an Encino mansion, which has a grisly rock and roll history and they plan on recording their 10th album. However supernatural forces are about to take hold of Dave Grohl.

I love the Foo Fighters and was due to see them this summer, so I really did want to love this film. Seriously I really did! But it just wasn’t my usual type of film and I have to say some of the horror gore was impressive to how much it made me feel rather sick so I will give it that as well. Plus it was rather lovely to see Taylor Hawkins on screen as well.
As the band are attempting to write a new album and Dave Grohl slowly becomes possessed and obsessed with doing just that, things would take a turn for the worst when the demon takes hold as they get close to producing the killer track.
It does have some amusing moments, especially when he keeps playing the rifts from some of the most famous songs and it does have some feels to Jack Black and Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny (again something that in theory was a great idea but overall in the film world doesn’t really work out in the best way). I mean I did take a big chance really considering I am not the biggest horror gore fan to begin with but I went with it anyway.
Having rock music within a film was naturally a very good thing and something that I just had to witness, overall though I just couldn’t love the film, as much as Dave Grohl is awesome.
