That’s right as part of my Tokyo trip I managed to have a day on the Bullet Train heading from Tokyo to Kyoto for a day out. The Bullet Train really is incredible!

I’ve done that too! Went from Tokyo to Hiroshima. Love the way the trolley ladies get to the end of the carriage, turn and bow to the carriage before leaving! Such a well-ordered and respectful society.

That is awesome! My next trip to the Philippines I need to take a few days in Japan instead of just a run from gate to gate at Narita.
