Cineworld Secret Screening 8 – Possible Films?

Cineworld have had quite a few Secret Screenings in the past few months, and it is just over a month since the last one in August which was the indie film Scrapper.

Date: Wednesday 27th September 2023
Time: 7:45pm

Just a reminder before attempting to guess potential films that the 15 rating and 90 minutes time listed on the website does not mean that it will be that rating or that length! They have to put a 15 rating incase of course it is a 15 film, so basically we can rule out 18 rated films (not that we get many of them these days). In the past animated films which have had a PG rating have been Secret Screenings. Here is a recap of the first 10 original Secret Screening films.

Anyway moving on here are my potential picks for this secret screening on Wednesday 27th September 2023!

BlackBerry (6th October)
I have seen the trailer for this one quite a few times recently, so it could be in with a shout! Also as being part of the generation who wanted and needed a blackberry, even though I did not actually work within business and was quite frankly a student at the time it really does interest me to be taken back to that time.

The Great Escaper (6th October)
In what is probably going to be Michael Caine’s final film, it would certainly be a good choice with an actor I think pretty much everyone likes right? Come on it sounds wonderful, a man escaping from his care home to attend the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Landings in France.

Foe (20th October)
A stranger shows up a the door a couple of farm a secluded piece of land and has a starling proposal for them.

Five Nights at Freddy’s (25th October)
Ok this looks a bit crazy in all honesty! Apparently the costumes in the diner aren’t just robots and can five nights be survived?

Doctor Jekyll (27th October)
Another retelling of the infamous Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde! It’s already had some screenings at different film festivals and had mixed reviews, so might need a secret screening to try and boost it.

What do you think it will be?
