Haunted Mansion (2023) Review

When Gabbie moves into her new mansion home, she hires a tour guide, a psychic and a historian to help exorcise it due to many ghosts.

The opening scene shows Ben Matthias meeting Alyssa who is a ghost tour guide and becomes entranced with her belief in the supernatural, they marry but she she dies in a car crash he takes over her ghost tours and gives up his own career.

Many years later when doctor Gabbie and her son Travis move from New York into Gracey Manor with the plan to turn it into a bed and breakfast they quickly find out that won’t be possible when they realise it is haunted by many different ghosts. Father Kent a priest and exorcist hires Ben to take photos in Gracey Manor, but he is not overly into the job and doesn’t quite believe it all. Although when a ghost follows him home and forces him to return to the mansion he has to start believing in it all.

Basically heading into the mansion will result in then being haunted and they most all attempt to work together to get rid of the the ghosts, from themselves and within the mansion. The film follows at a decent pace and has some good moments, mainly due to the good casting across the film as a whole. They really did go all out in that sense and that was something that made it probably more watchable than the overall story.
