Anne Yum is obsessed with game shows and must work with her estranged sister Jenny in order to help cover their mother’s gambling debts, when her dog is kidnapped they set off across the country to get the money they need.

If ever two sisters were the total opposite of each other then that is Anne and Jenny! However, they must come together in order to attempt to help their mother pay off debt. Using Anne’s impressive abilities when it comes to game shows and quizzes, not forgetting the use of social media that causes her to go viral. Jenny is utter chaos and that is something that Anne struggles to deal with.
Quiz Lady revolves around two sisters who are complete opposites of each other. Their contrasting personalities and perspectives on life create a compelling dynamic throughout the story. As the plot unfolds, audiences get to witness the clashes, conflicts, and growth that occur when these two individuals are brought together.

Given my current obsession with Grey’s Anatomy I went all in for Sandra Oh, and quite frankly I am a big fan of Awkwafina as well. So putting them both together was certainly a massive bonus for me!
