Cyrus is a master thief and leads a team who are then asked by Interpol to steal $500 million in gold that is being transported on a passenger flight.

Abby is very passionate in her job for Interpol and protecting different art work, we get a childhood story to why that’s the case. As it turned out she knew Cyrus rather well when they spent 5 days together before she realised what he did! Which we are constantly reminded about throughout the film. Each member of the team has a different skill set that will help them complete the mission. Although Agent Huxley is not really on board with it all and quite frankly wants to see it fail.
We get small introductions to each character but not enough to actually really care about what happened to them, a little bit more build up and background with the chracters could have made this better for me.
It attempts to have some good and interesting moments with action sequences thrown in, but it tended to just become the standard of Netflix films which was a shame really as the cast put together had so much promise. Throwing in the plane scenes which could have been impressive, but another aspect that was just leaving us thinking well is that it.
My main issue with the plot was that I hit a point and thought it was pretty much just the plot of Ocean’s Twelve, you know art involved and the ex-lover being an interpol agent but this time it wasn’t with Brad Pitt and Catherine Zeta Jones! It’s shame for Gugu Mbatha-Raw as let’s face it she is very talented. Kevin Hart does his comedy style well but quite frankly the film doesn’t have enough with all of that to take it to that next level. It did also make me think and wonder what on earth happened to Sam Worthington and his career.
