From one Christmas to the next Emma is inspired by watching a dance show and starts learning herself, then a chance encounter with Leo a former professional dancer will see her audition to perform with him in a competition.

This film starts in New York City, which quite frankly would be an ok setting anyway for this type of film, but they then push it that the dance competition is in Paris. So swapping NYC for Paris, Emma had never been to France before, throw in a few moments with tourist spotting landmarks.
Anyway we are supposed to believe that Emma who took up dancing lessons only a year before could then compete in a top competition filled with professional dancers? Yes, I put that much thought into that aspect of the story as surely that would not be possible at all?
We know what is going to happen next and the pair are going to fall madly in love and everything will be ok, given Emma quit her job and just happened to bump into Leo and flies off to Paris. If only good things would happen when quitting a job?
Let’s face it the Gleek in me decided to watch this for Matthew Morrison our Mr Schuester, once a Gleek always a Gleek. I mean if we had more singing moments I might have given it more than one star? Ok, maybe not.
