When Liam Turner makes a crucial spelling mistake in his letter to Santa addressing it to Satan instead, he has a rather interesting Christmas visitor that is about to cause some chaos.

Liam had not been having the best of times and his father Bill was very worried about that he was still writing to Santa and blaming his wife Molly for the way she behaved towards him. He only had one real friend at school in Gibby and had wanted to try and pursue his crush on Emma.
When Liam then gets the visit from Satan he still hasn’t realised his mistake, even with those horns on display. He is then granted three wishes, yes like a genie and is told the rules. Which by the very strange ending the main rule was actually then just ignored.
Despite Jack Black being his usual crazy self and having some amusing moments that was not enough to save anything about this truly bizarre film. Seriously it just got downright strange and not in a funny, good or Christmasy sweet way either. It just got very very weird. I was just about hanging on and then that ending was just the worst! I still cannot really get my head around why anyone thought that would be a good idea.
We kinda feel sorry for Liam though which does pull you in to begin with, but that can only keep you engaged for a short amount of time. We then get Post Malone thrown in with a gig scene as well.
I’d say avoid this one.
