A detective must race against time to stop a twist game show of Russian Roulette happening on the dark web, where captives are forced to compete against one another to survive.

Don’t get me wrong the idea behind it all with a deranged dark web “game” happening with a crazy person in charge, putting the captives against each other in sadastic games and the loser being killed. Don’t forget to add in that special people watching can then bid money to pick the manner in which the person is then killed, all streamed live.
It takes a little while for the police to get the first video and finding out that a murder has taken place, attempting to then see if a pattern occurs for the people who have been taken or not. Led by Ben a detective haunted by his own past and dealing with serial killers.
So you might be thinking, actually that plot doesn’t really sound that bad. Mashed version of a few other horror films and including the dark web as part of it. However, do not be fooled at all this is a truly awful and terrible film in all possible ways. I geniunely thought this was set in London or at least England, you know given the road markings for a speed limit which is from the UK. Then the accents all seemed to be British, but then we seemed to have some American attempts as well as Eastern European which made zero sense. It wasn’t until Portland was mentioned that I realised we were supposed to be in the US.
It does have a few brutal moments which I guess were quite shocking and the fact that people would actually pay to see someone tortured and then killed. The ending will leave you even more annoyed that the terrible acting, script and even visuals of the film look. I class this is a film that I watched, so you don’t have to!
