When couple Moth and Raynor Winn must deal with losing their home and adapt to a live changing terminal illness, not left with much choice or support they decide to walk a coastal path.

The story is told in some flashback form and as things move forward during the walk we are shown some previous events that have led to these moments. However I didn’t really feel fully engaged throughout as I felt it didn’t answer different questions quickly enough.
We didn’t really know enough about the characters to fully care, in my opinion. Although I fully believe that anyone who has read the book it is based on will probably feel different towards it all. As I felt we didn’t really learn very much about Morth and Raynor throughout and that could have made it actually better than it turned out to be.
Naturally though we do see some good shots around the area they are walking and it must have been rather difficult to film at times, especially the many scenes with that rather small tent! People in general aren’t very nice either is what we can take from it.
This film demonstrates the lack of support that people get when things go wrong, and quitw frankly theres then nothing you can do about it. Also that walking and treking is not as easy as it may first seem, especially when the weather chances and of course having to take into consideration the tide of the sea.
Jason Isaacs and Gillian Anderson both put good performances in as we don’t get many other characters for very long and it is certainly all on them.
