When his car breaks down David must use this very well placed with timing hire company, upon going inside everything about it seems a little bit bizarre. While the concept behind this was very impressive it did fail to hit the target of my high expectations. The trailer made it come across as a potential to be one of my films of the year.
One truly memorable moment occurred when she went back to a childhood memory with her mother, and pretending to be an adult and being asked not if she was happy but if she was content and I feel as though that is truly a true reflection on how things should be measured as to grow into happiness we must first be content with ourself and life.
The added sci-fi style in which the mystery car hire, with the demanding sat nav which seems to be leading the adventure to find those doors in so many random places. Would you like to actually see and relive some moments? I guess sometimes you think yes, but would it be a huge shock when you realise that your memory of it is now warped to what the actual reality of the moment was.
Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie work well enough together and create good chemistry between the characters, which is evident in their engaging performances. Their ability to convey emotional depth and nuanced interactions adds layers to the story, making it more relatable and compelling. I think that is what will draw people in from the trailer, as audiences are often captivated by strong on-screen partnerships that hint at an exciting narrative. With their charm and talent, Farrell and Robbie seem poised to deliver memorable moments that will resonate with viewers long after the film ends, enhancing the anticipation surrounding the release.
