When a couple who are seperated Kate and Everett decide to spend a final Christmas together for their children everything is turned upside down when his new girlfriend Tess joins causing tension and utter chaos.

So far A Merry Little Ex-Mas seems to be the biggest push from Netflix for this years Cheesy Christmas film and I have to say that having Alicia Silverstone in the lead was a big pull for me, then a few scenes with Melissa Joan Hart is like a 90s dream!
The story is naturally predictable for the ending, and do you know what I find that perfectly acceptable for this type of film. We want that aspect, we want happiness at the end as let’s face it real life is certainly not like this at all.
Kate is actually struggling more than she cared to admit given the impending divorce, attempting to stay strong for Gabriel and Sienna was never going to end well and she does have a rather dramatic breakdown after some comments from Everett and rightly so mind! However, do we have to actually give credit for trying again and people eventually admitting mistakes?
In the meantime though we get Chet Moore thrown in and he is just in for the ride, everything about him is totally wild and we all know that he is not the future for Kate but offers some fun and crazy moments which is what she well and truly needed.
Not a bad Cheesy Christmas film from Netflix which is well and truly its own special genre.
