Many years ago now I remember seeing The Lambton Worm pantomime at The Customs House in South Shields and how different it was talking on a folk song from Sunderland and transforming it into a very unique Pantomime. When they announced doing it again this year due to it being the 150th anniversary for the song, I just knew I had to go and see this show!

Ellen Langford has become a party girl in New York City which makes her father unsure whether she is actually ready to take over the family gift business. In order to teach her values and get her back on track he tasks her with taking a Christmas letter to the man he set the business up with. A small town named Snow Falls with only $100 and no credit cards.

Jerry Black is retiring as police chief when the last case he is involved with he cannot easily let go of, Stan Krolak quickly finds a suspect who has learning difficulties and he gets him to admit he killed the young girl. But Jerry isn’t convinced, he thinks a serial killer is still on the loose!

You may or not be aware that Julia Roberts is my all time favourite actress (Sorry Meryl/Catherine Zeta Jones) so I thought I would start a new series of blog posts 7 Greatest Performances and who better to start with than Julia Roberts? This will be looking at the best performances from different actors rather than judging just the film. I thought this would create some very good and interesting lists, as the greatest performances are not necessarily in the best films. This comes on the back of seeing Wonder over the weekend which I thought she was just amazing in!
