When seeing this poster I had to admit that I had a total fan-girl moment going on! Two of my favorite actors are in this film and it has got me looking forward to it. Colin Firth and Orlando Bloom in the same film, really does make me smile. Orlando Bloom has not really been seen in many films in the past few years, so lets hope this is a good one. Obviously with Colin Firth we know he is going to be good.

Susan (Hewitt) is a young and cynical journalist who learns that love can withstand time and many trials, when she comes across a story that will change her life forever.
A couple of days after we see the teaser trailer for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ comes the teaser trailer for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’. Which is a reboot for Spider-Man, with the very impressive Andrew Garfield donning the suit as Spider-Man. I think this is a very good teaser trailer, and puts the dark knight one to shame! I have never been a big Spider-Man fan, but this film does look pretty impressive. Especially the camera angle from his point of view we get for the last part of the trailer.
The first trailer, that being a teaser trailer has been released for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ which is going to be Christopher Nolan’s last Batman film in his franchise. If the first two have been anything to go by, we are in for another fantastic journey. This trailer is a very good teaser to the film, as it hardly shows us anything but still makes us wonder what is to come next.
Since my dad went to see ‘Green Lantern’ a couple of months back now, it has been quite a standing joke between us. At a funday on Sunday, he then decided to have the green mask painted on his face. For that very reason I thought it was the perfect time to bring back recreating the movie for the 5th time with my dad . . . the Green Lantern!

Make’s him even geekier the fact that he had the Green Lantern cap on too!!!

In recent years Meryl Streep has easily become one of my favorite actress. Watching her in all different types of film is just incredible, she is such an amazing actress. The most Oscar nominated actress of all, with a couple of Gold statues to go with the nominations.
The LAMB is this month going to be celebrating Meryl . . . that means more Meryl posts from Let’s Go To The Movies, in celebration of such a fantastic career that is still going so strong. I really do think Meryl will pick up a long-awaited Oscar next year for her performance as Thatcher in the Iron Lady.

Can a woman be more successful than her partner in Hollywood?
Today is my 24th Birthday so I decided to make a top 10 list of birthday scenes from the movies. All different types of scenes with some brilliant ideas of what to do and what not to do on your birthday. I can relate to some of these and could possibly relate to even more of them after this birthday as well!
Possibly the best character in the whole Harry Potter series. As we do not know whether he is good or bad, throughout the entire series. When we think he is good he seems to do something to make us think he is bad. Then when he seems bad and evil something else happens to change our minds again. Severus Snape is the most complex character and the mystery of it all really does keep us hanging on right until the very end. We do not find out the truth until we get to the Prince’s tale.

No-one could have taken the role on the way Alan Rickman did. He really became Snape bringing him to life and the delivery of the lines are just so perfect. I just love the way he speaks and sounds so awkward at times.

I have just returned from a midnight showing of the second part of the deathly hallows, that being the final Potter film in the franchise. We pick up straight away from where we were left off at the end of part one, and reminded how Voldemort took the Elder Wand from Dumbledore’s grave.
