Cinema – Week 1

Every week I am going to have a cinema plan of films that I am going to try and see on certain days (depending how many new films come out and what is still on).

This is all possible due to having an Unlimited Pass at Cineworld.

So here it goes week 1 which starts today Friday 4th Sept and runs until Thursday 10th Sept.

Friday: 500 Days of Summer

Monday: District 9

Tuesday: G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra

Wednesday: Julie & Julia

Thursday: Dorian Gray

That is the plan for this week 5 new films, so keep checking the blog to see if I manage to see all of these films.

Nine (2009) Trailer

As you may already know, I love musicals and “Chicago” is one of my favorite films. So when I found out that Rob Marshall was bringing another musical to the big stage I have been every excited about it. Even more so after watching this trailer as it looks fantastic, and really does have a great cast made up of Oscar Winners. This film has to be part of the Oscar Nominations next year.

The Boys Are Back (2009) Trailer

After looking at the poster and reading a little about this film, I came across the trailer and I’m therefore looking even more forward to seeing this film. Clive Owen impresses me more and more in each film I see him in.

The Boys Are Back (2009) Poster

Just come across this poster of Clive Owen’s newest movie which is due for release in the UK in January 2010. The brief outline of the film is a Sports Writer copying after his wife passing away.

The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009) Review

Henry has a gene that causes him to involuntary time travel and this creates some very tricky situations with his wife Clare. A complex love story that spans many years.

Julie & Julia (2009) Pictures

I just adore Meryl Streep so therefore just love watching her in all of her different roles. So I cannot wait to see Julie & Julia as it looks like its going to be very good. Another great performance from Meryl looks on the cards, I am also very much looking forward to seeing her on screen again with Stanley Tucci, as they had some good scenes together in “The Devil Wears Prada”.

The Final Destination (2009) Review

Death will catch up with you when you try and cheat your time being up. That is what happens when a young man has a premonition and helps to save his friends, or so he thinks!
