Yes you really have read the title of this blog post correctly 37 Christmas Films. Why 37 you may be thinking, well that’s how many Christmas Films I have actually seen and considering some of them are totally awful I didn’t want to call it Top 37 Christmas Films because some  of them would be nowhere near a top list! So I have therefore decided to rank them from 1-37, with the best at the top and worst at the bottom. Thought I would do this over a series of blog posts!

What makes a good Christmas Film?

A lot of blog posts and talk is currently surrounding Christmas films, so I decided that I would think about what makes a good Christmas film. Especially as it’s not that we get new quality Christmas films every year it always seems to be older now classic films which everyone makes sure they watch at some point in the build up to Christmas. These must have key elements which make everyone love them and want to watch them year in year out. I think that does help make these films extra special, as long as you get the formula right recent times have been more Christmas Turkeys rather than classics.
