Happy ‘One Day’ Day

That’s right it’s the 15th July, which the day we see over the years in ‘One Day’.

Happy Golden Girls Day!

That’s right it’s the day to celebrate Rose, Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia!

I mean it feels appropriate that I have been giving my favourite girls another watch, yes really again! It’s still as funny as ever and quite frankly they went all in with some hard hitting storylines mixed in with the comedy as well. If you know me then you will also know how much I have always loved this show!

Have a Sicilian Lemon Cheesecake in the fridge, which feels more than appropriate to help celebrate this special day!

New Year’s Eve

Who better to talk about New Year’s Eve than Harry?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends!

Only one film choice today Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Premiere: Hocus Pocus 2

I mean by this point I might as well just fully turn my blog into a Hocus Pocus stan blog! Disney held a premiere last night for the sequel which is released fully on Disney+ on Friday and quite frankly I am so excited for it! Just had to share this photo of the three Sanderson Sisters from last night!

Platinum Jubilee: Queen and Paddington!

The Platinum Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II took place over an incredible four days, and gave us an extra bank holiday for the occasion! One of the biggest highlights of this weekend has to be the Queen appearing with Paddington Bear to kick off the concert on Saturday night with the band Queen opening with We Will Rock You.

I absolutely love the Queen and Royal Family and seeing her go for it with Paddington Bear really was such a joy to behold, having appeared with Daniel Craig’s James Bond back in 2012 really does highlight just how much more they have gotten with the popular culture and quite happy to be part of it all in a positive manner.

God Save the Queen!

Happy New Year, from me and Billy Crystal

For the 5th year running I saw in the New Year watching one of my favourite films When Harry Met Sally. I was a few minutes off the timing for Harry to arrive to Sally for midnight and one of the greatest speeches ever!

“When you realise you want to spend the rest of you life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible”

I then took a photo of this and tweeted it at Billy Crystal and just look what happened ❤️🥰 2022 has peaked early!

I wish everyone who supports Let’s Go To The Movies the best possible 2022, and thank you to the legend that is Billy Crystal!

Daniel Craig – No Time To Die Premiere

My god!

Fangirl Moments – Orlando Bloom & Bill Nighy

So with my epic crusade to the Caribbean on my rewatch of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise it suddenly dawned on me that Orlando Bloom and Bill Nighy both starred in Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End together. So a quick image search came up with this fantastic photo of them!

The best fangirl moments come when two of your fandoms are together right?

Fangirl Moments: Paul Smith’s 50th Anniversary

I’ve had two fangirl moments when looking at some of the guests at the Paul Smith 50th Anniversary. Ian McKellen and Bill Nighy together in one photo (with a bonus of Susan Sarandon). Then Mark Strong and Stanley Tucci!
