
Due to having a holiday in Houston, Texas I managed to see this film out in the US a good month before it’s release in the UK! Well it has had quite a lot of build up with the different trailers being around for quite a while now.

Thanks to a secret screening at Cineworld, where the audience had no idea which film we had got tickets to see. This film had a sneaky preview on Monday night. Was very pleased when we found out it was this film, as the trailer has been going around for quite a while now and it had built up suspense surrounding this film. That is something that does not disappoint . . .

The story begins on the world of Krypton and the birth of Kal-El. Not a very happy time, as it is quickly shown that Krypton will not survive much longer. His father Jor-El had a plan to save his young son, sending him away from the doomed planet in order to have a chance to live. This planet was obviously Earth . . .

The Big Wedding has a very impressive cast, with what ends up a rather complicated plot, but plenty of laughs throughout.
