FriendsFest UK 2018

Let’s face it Friends is my all time favourite TV show, I have easily seen each episode about 500 hundred times. Ok maybe not that many, but I am sure it isn’t actually far off that total!

I have always been really jealous of #FriendsFest as it has never come up to Newcastle before, so when seeing the news yesterday that in July it will be here, I had to sign up for the pre-sale 24 hours before general sale. I have therefore bought two tickets and booked the set tour!

Something to totally look forward to in July! Not long after my birthday either so I am going to call this my celebration. Come on I started the year with a blog post about being happy because Friends was added to Netflix in the UK!

Could I BE anymore excited?

Why I still love Friends as much as ever!

Friends originally aired from 1994-2004. I would guess I started watching it around 1998/1999 and caught up with the episodes whilst still on TV, watching the final seasons as they happened.

My love for the TV show has always been huge from collecting them on VHS yes really on VHS and constantly watching them over and over whilst having a poster on my wall! Since then I upgraded on DVD but I don’t think I actually had each season. Then going all out and buying the Blu-Ray box set with every single season and episode! Throughout all that still watching at any time on E4 then now Comedy Central. It is one of those shows that it really doesn’t matter how many times I watch each episode, I could probably quote each and every line from each episode as well!

From January 2018 the full series was added to Netflix UK following on from it being added to Netflix US last year. A very exciting start to 2018. I have naturally been watching episodes and episodes between films and other things and was outraged that millennials watching for the first time and complaining about all aspects of the show! Especially considering I have just checked that millennials range from 1982-2002 therefore I am classed as one of them being born in 1987. Let’s just say this must be the younger of the generation!

Stranger Things (Season 2) Review

stranger_things_ver26_zpsqvjynwwd

The build up for Stranger Things 2 has been pretty impressive over the last few weeks and even months, quite possibly the biggest Netflix series yet? I would certainly say so the build up on social media has been very fierce. Something I am very thankful of towards Netflix for this series has to be that you can binge watch it very easily, which is what I have done and on a more extreme level than season one!

Trailer: The Crown (Season 2)

I throughly enjoyed the first season of The Crown on Netflix, therefore really looking forward to season 2 which is due to appear on Netflix from December. I am sure they will continue with the interesting story of the following ten years of the Queen’s reign!

Sabrina the Teenage Witch (TV) Review

12844_zps1zjafx4c

I recently decided to take a step back to my childhood and purchase Sabrina the Teenage witch box set on DVD. I will admit though that it wasn’t totally random I actually saw season one for £2.99 in HMV and I picked it up but then decided what was the point in buying just season one? So I then went to the best place to buy well anything online with Amazon and it was £29.99 for the box set containing all seven seasons!

I had thought about doing separate reviews for each season but then realised that no one would want to read all of those so decided to condense it into one bigger review and after I finished a season I would then update it. Not that the seasons take very long to watch, something that is amazing with the earlier episodes at least is that I can still remember everything about them. It’s also great to see so many famous guest stars too. What I hadn’t remembered about was the constant changes in cast and therefore new friends for Sabrina.
