Management (2009) Trailer

I posted the poster for this movie the other day and just got round to watching the trailer. I love Jennifer Aniston but this movie does not look very good. However, it will probably be nice as it is a romantic comedy.

Is Anybody There? (2009) Trailer

I really, really love the look of this movie. Just looks so lovely and nice, but get a feeling it will have a pretty sad ending. So I cannot wait to see it. Michael Caine, is a fantastic actor and looks like he is going to be on top form in this movie.

News: Douglas Mulls Wall Street Sequel

I am a big fan of Michael, so to see him reprise the role in which won him an Oscar I think would be fantastic !!!

Michael Douglas is considering a multi-million dollar offer to reprise his role as wicked money man Gordon Gekko in a Wall Street sequel.

Twenty-two years after Douglas’ Oscar-winning performance in the first film, studio bosses are trying to convince him to slip back into a pin-striped suit and head back to New York’s financial district.

According to the National Enquirer, Charlie Sheen – who starred as Bud Fox in the original – has already been ruled out of the sequel.

Jenkins Joins Roberts In Eat, Pray Love

Can only be a good thing, Richard Jenkins seems to do well in almost all movies he is in.

Richard Jenkins will help guide Julia Roberts to spiritual enlightenment in their new movie Eat, Pray, Love.

Jenkins has signed on to star opposite Roberts in the film, based on an international bestselling novel by Elizabeth Gilbert about a woman on a journey of self-discovery after divorcing her husband.

The pair meet at a peaceful Hindu community in India during after Roberts’ character embarks on a year-long journey around the world to find enlightenment.

Filming is scheduled to begin in July and will take place in New York, Rome, India and Bali, reports Variety.

Film Version of Spring Awakening

As you may now know, I am a massive musicals fan. So the announcment that a new musical is going to be made, always goes does well with me. So recent tony award winning show (opening in London’s West End very soon, after a successful off West End preview) is going to be made into a movie. Thats very good I would say.

Terminator Salvation director McG, who got his start behind the camera on music videos, is in talks to direct and produce a film adaptation of the Tony-winning rock musical Spring Awakening. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he’s developing the project with original book and lyrics writer Steven Sater, who worked with musician Duncan Sheik to create the reimagining of Frank Wedekind’s controversial 1891 play. The story centers on a bevy of male and female students coming of age, and explores homosexuality, S&M, loss of virginity, masturbation, and suicidal tendencies.

Obsessed (2009) Trailer

I really do think that this looks good !!!

Winstone And Knightley To Play Lovers

Very strange link . . . would have thought father and daugther. But Ray Winstone is the man or the daddy haha. Love him. Will be interested to see how this works out . . .

Ray Winstone and Keira Knightley are set to play unlikely lovers in a new gangster movie.

The pair has signed to star alongside Colin Farrell and Anna Friel in London Boulevard, The Departed screenwriter William Monahan‘s directorial debut.

Winstone will play a criminal who is released from prison and becomes romantically involved with a reclusive actress, played by Knightley.

It’s not the first time the British pair has shared the big screen – they were co-stars in 2004 film King Arthur.

The new movie will begin shooting in the British capital this summer.

Gervais Delight At Landing Fiennes

That is a very big plus for Ricky having Ralph Fiennes on board for his new movie.

Ricky Gervais has managed to snag a Hollywood star for his big-screen directorial debut – award-winning actor Ralph Fiennes has signed on to star in Cemetery Junction.

The British comedian has written his first movie with Stephen Merchant – his fellow creator of hit TV show The Office – which the pair will co-direct.

And Gervais is delighted he has managed to persuade Fiennes to take on a role in the upcoming comedy about a group of 20-somethings working at a bank in the 1970s.

Gervais says, “I bumped into him (Fiennes) at the Toronto Film Festival and told him I had written a part with him in mind. I sent him the script and what do you now? He is an amazing actor and will bring a real weight to the movie. Can’t wait.”

Filming on Cemetery Junction – which was originally due to be called The Men At The Pru – is scheduled to start later this year.

Fame (2009) Movie Posters

So “Fame” has been remade for a new generation and I am very excited. Fame is very well known, I have even played 5-a-side football dressed in Fame gear haha.

I really hope that the dress is still the leg warmers etc, as without that it would not at all be the same. So far 4 different posters have been released in different colours. They are quite simple in my opinion. But the poster for me does not matter I am a musicals geek so would see it no matter what.
