Blue Finch Film Releasing are delighted to announce that Life With Music, starring Sir Patrick Stewart, Katie Holmes and Giancarlo Esposito, will be available on digital download from 27th July.

Henry Field (Patrick Stewart) is an acclaimed concert pianist and one of the great virtuosi of his era. Upon returning to the stage after a prolonged absence, he finds himself suddenly afflicted with a severe case of stage fright. His once effortless play has abruptly turned into a self-conscious struggle of every bar. Old wounds have crept up on the master as he now fights to ward off artistic disaster.

Enter Helen Morrison (Katie Holmes), a music critic with a kindred spirit and a troubled past of her own. Helen believes she might hold the key to Henry’s return to form, but she must first overcome his defences and win his trust. As Henry’s condition starts to improve, the blossoming relationship takes an unexpected turn which could precipitate his downfall. Unless he finally faces his demons and the darker truth lurking beneath the glory of the stage.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (2020) First Photo!

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is the big screen adaptation of the hit musical that has enjoyed massive success in Sheffield and then in the West End (was due to tour the UK this year). I was lucky enough to see it early on in its West End run and caught the cinema playback as well.

It is a truly fantastic show with some amazing messages and great songs. In the film version the transformation of Richard E. Grant is something I have been really looking forward to seeing as Loco Chanelle! Newcomer Max Harwood is taking on the role of Jamie.

The Crown – Season 3 – Release Date

Netflix totally won with this announcement for when The Crown season 3 will be available to watch. It’s 17th November just incase you didn’t see it!

Having Olivia Colman just look at the camera looking totally incredible as she takes over from Claire Foy in the title role of Queen Elizabeth II. I am sure we will get plenty more teaser moments over the next few months in the build up to season 3. Easily one of the most successful programmes Netflix have managed to put together.

Are you looking forward to Season 3 or have you never actually watched any of The Crown?

Trailer & Poster – Tolkien (2019)

Being a total Lord of the Rings geek and lover I am very excited to see this film about Tolkien and how he began writing his now legendary works. Especially with Nicholas Hoult in the leading role with Lily Collins alongside him.

Stranger Things (Season 3) – 4th July 2019!

Netflix certianly seem to love a New Year announcement and this year it is to let everyone know the date that Stranger Things will be returning and that is on the 4th July! They have also put together a poster and a pretty cool 1985 style video for the announcement. I would say that Stranger Things is easily the biggest show they have done (so far).

Mary Poppins Returns – First Songs!

I don’t even care how many blog posts I end up doing in the build up to Mary Poppins Returns being released. Disney have been very kind and given us two full songs to listen to to keep us going for the next few weeks ahead of the films release. So far we hadn’t heard any of the songs as the trailers didn’t have them in …
