The Last Bus (2021) Review

Pensioner Tom is about to embark on an incredible trip from Britain’s most northerly point John O’Groats to his original home town at the most southernly point Land’s End, all after his wife Mary has just passed away. Using buses with his free bus pass and having to stick to a very well worked out route, not wanting anyone to touch his small suitcase.

Poster: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

I absolutely love Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and the films we have had so far and have been really looking forward to seeing No Way Home! Here is a poster that Marvel has just released for the film, I am very tempted to try and see this at the BFI IMAX during my London trip 21-23rd December, if I can manage to fit it in around the theatre trips! But I will probably have to see this on opening day as well!

Wicked Movie: Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo cast!

Good news!

That’s right it has eventually happened we have casting news for the Wicked Movie version that has been talked about for so many years now that I have even lost count. It is one of the most successful and well loved stage musicals of all time, I myself have seen it nine times since first seeing it on Broadway back in 2009. (I even had a truly wonderful birthday cake for my 30th birthday that was Wicked themed). It is a truly fantastic show with so many outstanding songs and along with a good story with some amazing points to it all.

#FridayFakeCinemaClub – Special Event – V For Vendetta

That’s right I am bringing back #FridayFakeCinemaClub for a very special edition event with Bonfire Night and therefore 5th November falling on a Friday and the legendary V for Vendetta being available on Netflix why not have a lovely watch-a-long event?

If you haven’t seen it before it is the perfect time for a first viewing, its a film that took me a few attempts to get into and once I did was so pleased as it really is a brilliant film.

Defiance (2008) Review

The story of Jewish brothers Bielski who battle to survive in Nazi occupied Eastern Europe and must escape to the Belarusian forests where they join with Russian resistance fighters and build a village to protect themselves and other Jewish people.
