Eatflix – Elf

Screening Date: Tuesday 23rd December 2025 (7pm)
Address: Eatflix Cinema, 269 Chillingham Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 5LL

Eatflix is an incredible 5D cinematic experience, which combines food and drink with a film, served at the key moments within the film. This is something that I have wanted to try out for quite a while now and it seemed so perfect to get tickets for Elf in the build up to Christmas, although the day the tickets went on sale was rather crazy as even with a pre-sale password the whole website crashed!

Check out the menu below, which had an incedible 5 drinks and 3 courses of food. I was naturally looking forward to the dessert and the epic pasta with chocolate syrup, crushes biscuits and smarties!

Then you can also see a video I put together of the experience between the different courses, also attempting to capture the moments in the film that it goes along with. Such a clever event to put together isn’t it!

RIP Rob Reiner

Such sad news to wake up to this morning that director and actor Rob Reiner along with his wife Michele were both found dead in their home yesterday afternoon. Director of incredible films, A Few Good Men, When Harry Met Sally, Misery, Stand By Me, This is Spinal Tap, Sleepless in Seattle and some of my guilty pleasures including The American President, Rumor Has It and The Bucket List. As well as many acting roles.

Rest in peace ❤️
