RIP Robert Redford

Sad news broke today that legendary actor Robert Redford passed away at the age of 89. A very well respected actor and director with a career spanning seven decades, taking on so many iconic roles, across many genres and in more recent years even being part of the Marvel Universe.

A true icon of cinema and so many memorable roles, he has been one of my favourite actors for many years and I feel as though the performances he delivers in All the President’s Men and The Way We Were being two of my favourites. His Oscar win came for best director for Ordinary People in 1981.

Rest in peace Robert ❤️

Rocky Horror – 50th Anniversary

That’s right, the Time Warp has been going on for 50 whole years in film format! I just had to go to the cinema to see one of my favourites on the big screen. Now I didn’t go dressed up, even though I do have an outfit. I think only five people in the screening were, probably a shame that and audience participation wasn’t more encouraged. I mean that is one of the big reasons it became such a clut classic.

I don’t think I have actually seen the film on the big screen before, unless I have just forgotten but I am such a geek that I usually remember not only what I have seen at the cinema but who I went to see it with, well how about that!
