JAMES BOND FILMS SET TO RETURN TO CINEMASFOR 007 RETROSPECTIVE

To celebrate 60 years of the beloved British franchise, Bond is back on the big screen across the UK and Ireland from April until October 2022
Following celebrations at the Academy Awards® and the BAFTA’s – the 60th Anniversary celebrations of 007 continue with UK and Irish cinema screenings of 25 Bond titles from mid-April, culminating in Global Bond Day on 5th October.

In 1962, Sean Connery introduced Ian Fleming’s character to cinema audiences. “Bond, James Bond” is now one of the most iconic moments in film history.

The films will be screening in stunning 4K and will screen chronologically at Vue and Odeon Cinemas across the UK and Ireland starting mid-April with the 60th Anniversary of Dr. No, through to No Time To Die in October, alongside other celebratory programmes at selected cinemas nationwide.

No Time To Die (2021) Review

James Bond had left active service and somewhat retired, but was that ever really going to fully happen? He certainly hoped so, but when Felix Leiter his old friend from the CIA turns up asking for his help it isn’t long before he is dragged back into everything to figure out the dangerous villain who has developed some fatal new technology.

RIP Sean Connery

Sir Sean Connery the legendary James Bond actor and Oscar winner has sadly passed away at the age of 90. The first to take on the James Bond and he was iconic doing that. His Oscar win came for The Untouchables and he starred in many big hitting films.

Rest in Peace Sean Connery ❤️

Happy #JamesBondDay

No Time For Bond

James Bond has been hit by the Coronavirus, that’s right 007 which was due for release in a month (2nd April) has now been pushed back until November. MGM, Universal and the producers of No Time To Die announced this yesterday. Considering cinemas had just started taking bookings in the past week as well it is truly devastating for them and the abuse they are now going to face from people who were already demanding refunds.

The new release date for the UK is now 12th November 2020 and the US on 25th November 2020 and other worldwide release dates to follow!

Happy 52nd Birthday Daniel Craig!

One of my all time favourite men turns 52 today so Happy Birthday to Daniel Craig, not long now until his final outing as James Bond!

Trailer: No Time To Die (2020)

This is Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 aka James Bond and by this first trailer it looks rather epic in action film terms, lets just hope that it does not disappoint!

Please, Leave James Bond Alone!

This isn’t the first time we have heard of people wanting James Bond to suddenly become a woman. I personally do not understand why and quite shocked that Pierce Brosnan has been the latest to come out and support Jane Bond as it is being branded about. I seriously do not understand why. Why should a male character be changed to female when we could just have a brand new franchise and character made up? Stop trying to make everything go overboard towards women. Something I have been rather annoyed about in recent years to be honest.

I want good interesting female characters not some gender swapped Bond. I mean come on as much as I enjoy a good Bond film the character is very outdated in terms of mannerisms which is probably how Jason Bourne and Ethan Hunt (Bourne and Mission Impossible) have overtaken the action in the films. So why can’t we have a better Bond instead? Don’t just change the gender in an attempt to be politically correct, make the male version better and more relevant to 2019. We don’t hear people wanting Bourne or Hunt to be made female?

Musical Moments – Nobody Does It Better

As another small tribute to the passing of Sir Roger Moore, I decided to have a musical moment today from one of his Bond outings in The Spy Who Loved Me with Carly Simon taking on the vocal role with Nobody Does It Better.
