Film and Theatre Lover!
British acting legend has sadly passed away at the age of 77. He was well known for his many film roles including The Elephant Man, 1984, Alien, V for Vendetta and featuring in the Harry Potter series. He also was a well respected actor on stage and the small screen with many roles in TV series.

I always like to put together a top 10 list of films I have managed to catch up with and watch during 2014 that I had never seen before. Below you will see that I really was slacking with some of these films! Especially the Before Trilogy which I totally fell in love with.
It Happened One Night (1934) – Review
Clark Gable really is something else. This film has that groundbreaking scene of a woman’s leg in what is an amazing scene. Just showing that women can do things which men cannot! Gable gets plenty of good lines in this and the chemistry is fantastic!
During a shopping trip in New York City Frank and Molly literally run into each other and have a chance encounter. During this encounter books are swapped which are for Christmas presents.
1984 was a groundbreaking novel then turned film in the same year of its name. Winston Smith spends his working days rewriting history and rebels against the current society by falling in love.
An absolutely incredible idea for a Blogathon, which currently has 108 bloggers taking part. Each taking on a different film from 1984, which is now 30 years ago! A few years (just) before my time!
