Inception (2010) Trailer

With one week to go until the release of Inception, last night at the cinema I saw for the first time a second trailer for the film. Which I think is much better than the first trailer and makes me want to see the film even more. It really does look like such an interesting concept and some brilliant effects.

Predators (2010) Review

A group of selected warriors from different parts of the world, suddenly found themselves on a strange island, or that should be a planet. But what else is on that planet with them? That’s right strange alien things known as predators. For me this will go down as a film which looked much better from the trailer.

Move out of the way kids, I’ve been waiting 11 years to see “Toy Story 3”

Inspired by a “become a fan” or now “like” on Facebook. I thought it was a good title to write some build up about the long-awaited third installment of Toy Story. To really get into this blog I guess I have to think back to 1995 and the release of the first Toy Story when I was 7/8 years old! So I had to be in the target audience for this film. I went to the cinema to see it and can remember totally loving it and I used to hope my toys came to life when I was not around (yes, probably extremely sad to admit that but it is true, and I am sure a lot of you out there felt exactly the same). The thought of your toys having adventures and everything really was just fantastic. Plus this was the first Pixar animation and so different to all the previous animated films we had ever seen.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010) Poster

The first poster which is totally a teaser for the final installments of Harry Potter have been released. This is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which is in two parts. I actually quite like this poster as pretty much sums up that the end is indeed nearly for the whole franchise of Harry Potter.

Have to also admit that I did not realise it was going to be in 3D!!!

Sex and the City 2 (2010) Review

Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte returned to the big screen for a second outing this weekend.

That opening sentence just shows that I did indeed start this review the day after the film was released. It really was something I had been looking forward to since the first movie finished!

Eclipse (2010) Review

Well a few hours ago I attended my first ever midnight screening of a film and it has to be said it was a very random and interesting experience. Mainly because of how many people were at the cinema for a few different screenings of the third part of the Twilight Saga, this being Eclipse. My cinema very rarely has films starting later than 9.30pm but this could be the start of more later screenings in my opinion because of the sheer volume of people in the cinema last night. Then coming out at 2am, any way onto the film. I had read the book quite a while back and probably liked it the best out of the series. Team Jacob for me.
