Film and Theatre Lover!
Although it is not due for release until 2011, the first four posters for “Green Lantern” have been released. (It looks as though this is going to have a big build up). I have to admit that I have not really been keeping up to date on this film and did not realize Mark Strong was going to be in it – this has me now very excited for this film.
The fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean is due to land on our screens in May 2011. The major build up has begun already with Captain Jack Sparrow aka Johnny Depp, making an appearance on a teaser video at comic-con. I am very much looking forward to this film in hope that they can finish the franchise on a high after the slight disappointment of the third film. It will be interesting to see how it all works without Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swan (Keria Knightley) after the much publicized announcements that they would not be returning for the fourth film.
The first poster which is totally a teaser for the final installments of Harry Potter have been released. This is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which is in two parts. I actually quite like this poster as pretty much sums up that the end is indeed nearly for the whole franchise of Harry Potter.
Have to also admit that I did not realise it was going to be in 3D!!!
Breaking Dawn the fourth and final book of the Twilight saga has been given the green light and will begin filming in Septemeber 2010.
A director for the film has not yet been attached to the project.
Rumours have stated that it might be done in two parts, but this is yet to be confirmed.
At least everyone now knows that the franchise will be completed.
I have just been reading about Cleo which is apparently in pre-production with Steven Soderberg directing and Catherine Zeta Jones as the title role Cleo, and Ray Winstone is currently set to play Julias Caeser. It is down to be a drama and musical, which I think will be very interesting.
So far I am very excited about this as love all three of those mentioned above. So hopefully more news will come out soon especially about filming starting would be good, and even pictures from on-set would also be a big plus with it all. It sounds like it will be a very good role for Catherine to take on.
