This certainly lives up to it being a teaser trailer and gives you just enough to raise the interest. Early shout for Jennifer Hudson to be Oscar nominated for her portrayal of Aretha Franklin? Yes, I am going there from this trailer! (Maybe even Best Picture nominee as well, Oscars love a biopic!). We also got the first poster!

Henry Field (Patrick Stewart) is an acclaimed concert pianist and one of the great virtuosi of his era. Enter Helen Morrison (Katie Holmes), a music critic with a kindred spirit and a troubled past of her own. Helen believes she might hold the key to Henry’s return to form, but she must first overcome his defences and win his trust. Let’s Go To The Movies on 10th July @ Cineworld!

That’s right today Cineworld announced that Cinemas in England are scheduled to open on 10th July, obviously this is provisional but I certainly see it as a light at the end of the tunnel. The cinema is the place I have missed the most since lockdown and I really cannot wait to see a film on the big screen again!

Felt like celebrating with some images from movie scenes where they go to the cinema! Can you name all the films?

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (2020) First Photo!

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is the big screen adaptation of the hit musical that has enjoyed massive success in Sheffield and then in the West End (was due to tour the UK this year). I was lucky enough to see it early on in its West End run and caught the cinema playback as well.

It is a truly fantastic show with some amazing messages and great songs. In the film version the transformation of Richard E. Grant is something I have been really looking forward to seeing as Loco Chanelle! Newcomer Max Harwood is taking on the role of Jamie.
