Plot: Peter and his grandpa used to be very close, but when Grandpa Jack moves in with the family, Peter is forced to give up his most prized possession: his bedroom. Peter will stop at nothing to get his room back, scheming with friends to devise a series of pranks to drive him out. However, grandpa doesn’t give up easily, and it turns into an all-out war between the two.

When Akeem who has recently been crowned King finds out that he has a long-lost son back in the United States in Queens after his first thirty years ago, he finds him and brings him to be his unexpected heir due to the current rules around only males being able to rule, much to the dismay of his eldest daughter who had spent her whole life preparing.

Week 9! Luckily I eventually watched Coming to America for the first time this year just in time for this sequel to be released! Should be a nice lighthearted film after last weeks brutal film!

Plot: The African monarch Akeem learns he has a long-lost son in the United States and must return to America to meet this unexpected heir and build a relationship with his son.

Let’s Go To The Movies – Trailer Debut!

That’s right after twelve years Let’s Go To The Movies has had some cause for celebration over the past few days with the new UK and Ireland trailer for The Mauritanian, a film which I have had the pleasure of watching earlier this year. Don’t blink though as you may miss the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and Let’s Go To The Movies with it! A hard hitting film with truly outstanding performances, especially from Tahar Rahim with Jodie Foster brilliant in support. Also starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Shailene Woodley.

The Island (2005) Review

In a dystopian future a group of people live in a facility and do different jobs, a lottery happens where they are then taken to the island. The only escape from the horrible reality they face, we follow Lincoln Six Echo and then Jordan Two Delta as they begin to realise everything is not as it first seems.
