Best Actress in a Leading Role has been quite an interesting race with no full out leader who has been picking up the award consistently with a clean sweep.

The 2024 Best Picture on the whole are pretty good, usually I find that a film I utterly hated gets nominated and that is not the case this year. One film in the list I feel doesn’t belong, but more for quality rather than having anything I hated about it. Which means in my opinion it is a strong year with the films, also including my favoruite film of 2023 as well, which I guess is always a bonus.
