I have picked the performance from the original Broadway cast at the Tony Awards in 2008 in which it went on to win the Best New Musical Tony Award (and I was at these awards!)
A few days on ago on Facebook this incredible memory popped up from 2008 when I attended the Tony Awards in New York! An amazing evening seeing so many different people perform from so many outstanding shows. Watching In the Heights pick up the best new musical award, the night after seeing it on Broadway.
