Planet of the Apes (1968) Review

George Taylor is an astronaut who was part of a crew that crash landed on a planet after waking from deep hibernation. Finding out the year was 3978 making it two thousand and six years after leaving earth. The planet they have crashed on has intelligent talking apes who are the dominant species with humans oppressed and enslaved whilst also being mutes.

Marvel Studios: The Infinity Saga – Collector’s Edition Complete Box Set UHD

On a totally unrelated search I stumbled across this complete collection of the Marvel Cinematic Universe set which is quite frankly stunning if you have £399.99 to spend on it all! I mean you get the 4K Ultra HD disc along with the Blu-Ray disc as well, but that price is very high isn’t it!

Ron Stallworth is an African-American police officer in Colorado Springs and he managed to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of Flip Zimmerman a fellow police officer who just happens to be Jewish. The pair being posing as the same man Ron, manage to become the leader of the branch. This film is based on actual events.

Top 10 – Films I Caught Up With in 2018

Throughout 2018 I managed to catch up with 48 older films and have decided to put together a top 10 list out of those films. You will be probably be quite surprised that some of these films I did not see until recently as some quality films. Always good to set yourself a challenge to catch up. I am happy that I managed to get 48 first time watches of films that does not include new cinema releases. Ultra HD Blu-ray Player!

An incredible present for my birthday today is an upgrade for my home film watching, an Ultra HD Blu-ray player! Now to purchase some 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray films! It comes with The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and I already have the incredible new version of Die Hard that I can watch.
