I love sport films, I love boxing films, so this just looks brilliant in my eyes . . . also the fact that the more and more I watch Mark Wahlberg the more I like him!
I Love Million Dollar Baby
If you have not been on my blog before you may not know my deep love for Million Dollar Baby. It is my favorite film EVER. Whilst having a search on my computer I came across pictures grabbed from one of the trailers and decided to make it into a blog post. Mainly because it really did put across the whole point of the film, about Maggie’s dream.

Resurrecting the Champ (2007) Review

A young sports journalist Erik (Hartnett) who is very sick of living in his father’s shadow/reputation. Sets out on a huge story when he thinks a former boxer who was almost the champ is still alive. He spends a lot of time with champ getting his life story and how he went from almost champion of the world, to ending up living on the streets with no-one.

News: Weinsteins Get In The Ring With Bale And Wahlberg For The Fighter
I very much like the sound of this !!!
Movie mogul siblings Bob and Harvey Weinstein have picked up Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg’s boxing movie.
The Weinstein Company has acquired the international rights to The Fighter and is now selling the film at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
The film, about Massachsetts boxing brothers Dickie Eklund (Bale) and ‘Irish’ Micky Ward (Wahlberg), is currently in pre-production. David O. Russell will direct.
The project joins an impressive list of upcoming movies for the Weinsteins, who will also be handling Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, Rob Zombie’s Halloween sequel H2 and the much-anticipated musical Nine, which features an all-star cast including Daniel Day Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, and Judi Dench.
