Ice Man and Batman all rolled into one as Val Kilmer was part of Top Gun and Batman Forever. He has had health battles with throat cancer and rarely makes public appearances. So for him to still attend this London Film & Comic Con event really was a very special occasion.
Other film credits include The Saint, Heat, The Ghost and the Darkness, Red Planet, At First Sight and so many more!

We have a possible new Bruce Wayne/Batman that will be announced with Robert Pattinson to take on the cape crusader. The film from Matt Reeves is due for release in June 2021.

This Blogathon is running for the second year by Realweegiemidget which is bringing bloggers together to pay tribute to the incredible Michael Caine as he celebrates his 85th Birthday.
You will not be surprised at all that I have decided to focus on his role as Alfred Pennyworth in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy.

Christian Bale is quite possibly one of the greatest British actors of all time. Causing chaos at the Golden Globes when some people didn’t realise that he is Welsh! I found that very amusing but also confirmation that he is therefore a truly outstanding actor! He has been nominated four times for an Oscar-winning for his supporting role in The Fighter.
He is very well-known for his serious method acting and really becoming the character. This has resulted in serious weight loss and weight gain over the years to achieve a totally different look. Not forgetting his working out to become Batman for Christopher Nolan!
He is certainly one of my favourite actors and here are my choices for his 7 Greatest performances . . . (So far) . . .
Early this week was the date that The Dark Knight was released in cinemas and that film pretty much changed everything about comic book films as well as action films in terms of substance and what they could have in them. I loved the film so much after the first cinema viewing that I went back two more times and now have lost count on the number of times I have actually watched the film. I still personally believe it should have been nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars the following year. Heath Ledger was rightly awarded the Best Actor in a Supporting Role but this really should have been the film to break that Best Picture stigma.

Christopher Nolan really did take the whole comic book movie genre to a totally different level with his trilogy. Starting and setting the pace with Batman Begins and then moving into this unreal place with The Dark Knight and then finishing it off with The Dark Knight Rises. All of which are brilliant films on their own, so as a trilogy I actually think they are pretty close to being perfect, he set the bar high and I don’t think we have or will ever really see anything like this.

Bruce Wayne wants revenge for his parents death and in the process of this we see that his goal changes to trying to save Gotham from the corrupt mobsters who are beginning to run it. A very intensive training programme with the League of Shadows is going to put so many different things in notion for Gotham as well as Bruce Wayne.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
With so many superhero films bombarding us over the past few years I have decided to put together a top 5 list of my favourites!

When worlds collide Superman and Batman are put against each other in order to fight for what they believe in, as this is going on Lex Luthor sees it as an opportunity to start an up rising.

In Gotham we see James Gordon starting out in the Police Department as he takes on his first case, the murder of the Wayne’s and how this causes absolute chaos in the city. The series also gives us many different origin stories of the many villains.
Let’s face it Batman has always been on favourite and still is my favourite no matter how hard Iron Man tried! Ok anyway I had tried to watch this and recorded it on Sky, but never actually got round to have the time to watch it. That changed though a few weeks ago when I spotted the series on Netflix. Such an easier way to watch a TV series (and very addictive) next episode, next episode.
