Sad news today that Rocky acting legend Carl Weathers has passed away, most well known for his role as Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise as well as appearing in many other films. He passed away at the age of 76, rest in peace ❤️

This Monday in January is seen as being Blue Monday the most depressing day of the year, that is due to the festive period being more than over and struggling through January still waiting to be paid! Therefore I decided to put together a list of 7 feel good films which I totally love.
Isn’t escapism and being made to feel happy one of the main reasons we watch so many films? Well, it certainly is for me so I thought what better day than the most depressing of the year to think about the films that make me very happy!

Rocky struggles going back to his normal life after his shot a the title, marrying Adrienne and having a baby on the way he is doing all he can to make some money. Apollo Creed is struggling with the hate mail from people saying he didn’t actually win, leading to a re-match.
Rocky (1976) Review
A small time boxer gets the opportunity of a life time a chance to fight for the heavyweight championship against Apollo Creed, in which he strives to go the distance.
Rocky IV (1985) Review
When Russia claim to have the best boxer a machine Drago it all goes wrong in an exhibition match against Apollo Creed when he is killed in the fight. This leads Rocky to challenge Drago but must travel to Russia for the fight.
