Based on the true story of Forrest Tucker, although we are told at the beginning of the film somewhat! His escape from San Quentin prison at the age of 70! After that a string of heist’s at banks using his charm to do it without much hassle at all.

Moving on from the top 10 best and worst list I also like putting together some films that have disappointed me during the past year. These are mainly the films that I was looking forward to or had a lot of hype around them and just well didn’t live up to it!

You always have to love the photos they take of the acting winners at the end!
Gutted about this one in all honesty as I thought Denzel was a much better performance!

The best actor race was looking like only one winner was going to come about but another which in recent weeks has changed a little bit with other awards going from Affleck to Washington. I certainly know who I preferred in their films.
Don’t forget to let me know who you would like to see win and who you think will win (if that is different of course).
This year nine films have been given the honour of being nominated for Best Picture. I managed to catch most of them pretty early thanks to Cineworld having so many Unlimited preview screenings which certainly was a bonus! Not forgetting to mention that my number one film from 2016 is amongst the nominees as well!
It is time to have another look at each of the films that have been nominated and I will let you know what I want to win, what I think will win and what I think has an outside chance of taking home the Oscar!

As much as I love La La Land, I really do want to see BAFTA really honour I, Daniel Blake as thought it was a remarkable film. (Even if they did snub Dave Johns for the leading role)
