I have now seen this trailer at the cinema a few times and think that it really does look like a good romantic comedy. Just have to hope that the funniest parts aren’t just in the trailer. It looks like it has it right!
Film and Theatre Lover!

I have now seen this trailer at the cinema a few times and think that it really does look like a good romantic comedy. Just have to hope that the funniest parts aren’t just in the trailer. It looks like it has it right!
Today’s quote comes from “Riding in Cars with Boys” which I found a difficult watch but some of the events and quotes are still memorable.
“Sometimes we love people so much that we have to actually be numb to it, because if we actually felt how much we loved them . . . it would kill us.”
Ricky Gervais hosting the awards which will be an experience, I will keep updating this blog post as the show goes on.
Today’s quote is from Never Been Kissed and I am sure everyone can relate to this feeling:
“You know, that moment when you kiss someone and everything around you becomes hazy. And the only thing in focus is you and that person. And you realise that, that person is the only person that you’re supposed to kiss for the rest of your life. And for one moment you get this gift. And you want to laugh and you want to cry because you feel so lucky that you found it and so scared that it will go away all at the same time.”
Just come across the poster for Ellen Page’s next starring role. In Drew Barrymore’s Whip It, which is about a small town misfit who deals with her small town misery after discovering a roller derby league nearby.

I think this is really good news, as it was a good way to end it . . . he went home !!!
Director Steven Spielberg has ruled out plans to make a sequel to kids’ movie classic E.T., insisting it’s “a closed story”.
The filmmaker was reported to be in talks with the movie’s star Drew Barrymore, who featured when she was just six years old, to reunite her character Gertie with her extraterrestrial friend in a new installment of the picture, 27 years after the original.
But Spielberg has already dismissed the notion, telling Empire magazine: “I’m never going to make E.T. II – E.T. is a closed story.
“It had a beginning, middle and a definite ending, and we had nowhere to take it except to go home with him. Nor did I want to bring him back to Earth for a second time.”
Wow I wonder if this will actually happen?
Steven Spielberg and Drew Barrymore are in talks to bring legendary movie alien E.T. back to Earth in a big budget Hollywood sequel.
Twenty-seven years after a six-year-old Barrymore melted film fans’ hearts playing little Gertie, a girl who befriends an extraterrestrial visitor, director Spielberg wants to reunite the pair.
According the National Enquirer, Barrymore and Spielberg have met to discuss the project, which will show E.T. returning to Earth to rejoin the now-adult Gertie.
A source tells the tabloid, “Steven and Drew are being very secretive about this baby. But they want to do this project and work together. Steven has an incredible story in mind for the sequel that will bring E.T. back to earth.”

To take away the seriousness of the Awards season films and trying to watch previous Oscar winning movies. I decided to have a bit of a chick flick adventure and go to see “He’s Just Not That Into You”. Just for something that is quite easy to watch and doesn’t really take much attention span to follow what’s going on in it.
