A look back at 2009 in film!

Having already mentioned what a huge year 2009 is for Let’s Go To The Movies, formed in the February to be exact. The 3D film was pushed a lot and in a few different ways which is something that Avatar really was groundbreaking with, however after ten years maybe that film was more of a gimmick than actually an amazing film? I certainly think so.

From Stage to Screen Blogathon – Everything I’ve Seen

When I came across this fantastic Blogathon idea by Rachel over at Rachel’s Theatre Reviews and Rosie over at The Rosebud Cinema. It was something that I just had to get involved with, because as well as loving the cinema and films I have a passion for the theatre and seeing shows. This is something which I have now properly been doing for the past 10 years, yes realising that has made me stop and think, so it seems to be a perfect time to put together this blog post. I am going to look at all of the different shows I have seen on the stage and then also seen the film version.

Fame (2009) Review

Remember . . . Remember my name !!!

But other than the three actor’s I already knew before going into this film, those being Megan Mullally, Kelsey Grammer and Bebe Neuwirth . . . I don’t think I will remember there names. Don’t get me wrong that may seem a strange starting with the review in a negative manner when I did still quite enjoy the film. It was far from perfect and had flaws, but a new generation and obviously more modern version.
