Welcome to week 4 of the Friday Fake Cinema Club and this week’s film is The Dig yet another 2021 release, aren’t they coming in thick and fast!

Starring: Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James, Johnny Flynn, Ben Chaplin, Ken Stott, Archie Barnes and Monica Dolan.

Plot: The Dig is a drama film directed by Simon Stone, based on the 2007 novel of the same name by John Preston, which reimagines the events of the 1939 excavation of Sutton Hoo.

#FridayFakeCinemaClub – Friday 22nd Jan 2021 = The White Tiger: Roundup!

That’s week three of Friday Fake Cinema Club complete and we watched The White Tiger which is another new Netflix film. Starring Adarsh Gourav, Rajkumar Rao and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas. Directed and written by Ramin Bahrani. This seemed to have a more positive response than Outside the Wire last week.

Thank you to everyone who joined in for week two of Friday Fake Cinema Club with our film Outside the Wire starring Anthony Mackie and Damson Idris. This film got a very mixed reaction from our viewers and I find that to actually be a good thing, as it creates a very interesting discussion!

#FridayFakeCinemaClub – Cinema Intro!

That’s right I have tried to find different opening Cinema themes or videos that they use prior to the film starting in our favourite places. With a few people going more to Cineworld or Odeon, that must have something to do with the monthly passes right? But I have tried to include as many UK cinemas as possible.
