SUPERHERO New Year Resolutions!

I get quite a few random things sent to my email for the blog, but every now and then I really do feel the need to share it! This one is pretty amusing as they have come up with New Year Resolutions for Superheroes, let’s face it we all love Superheroes!

Anyone come up with any more?

DC Universe – Will it be able to rival Marvel?

It has eventually started to happen, well actually DC started the universe back in 2013 with Man of Steel but in all honesty I didn’t realise that at the time. I mean come on we had a failed Superman attempt years before that with the awful Superman Returns. So another Superman attempt wasn’t a big thing. Well actually it turns out it was a huge thing!

From next year 2016, DC have slated in 10 films to release in four years. Now that really is making a statement and giving the audience a lot of new characters. Although some characters we may have seen in the past but I am very interested to see how it is all going to play out. Over the weekend because of the incredible Comic Con, Warner Brothers have spoilt us with two incredible trailers for next year’s releases. Those being Batman v Superman and The Suicide Squad.

Recreating the Movie 5 – Green Lantern

Since my dad went to see ‘Green Lantern’ a couple of months back now, it has been quite a standing joke between us. At a funday on Sunday, he then decided to have the green mask painted on his face. For that very reason I thought it was the perfect time to bring back recreating the movie for the 5th time with my dad . . . the Green Lantern!

Make’s him even geekier the fact that he had the Green Lantern cap on too!!!

Green Lantern (2011) Review

Hal Jordan is a test pilot, who one night is chosen by an alien with a green ring to replace him. Along with a green lantern he gets superpowers and becomes part of a squadron who are to keep the galaxy at peace.

Green Lantern (2011) Posters

Although it is not due for release until 2011, the first four posters for “Green Lantern” have been released. (It looks as though this is going to have a big build up). I have to admit that I have not really been keeping up to date on this film and did not realize Mark Strong was going to be in it – this has me now very excited for this film.
