Trailer: Cats (2019)

The musical Cats was one of the longest running of all time in the West End and has countless tours over the years, as well as being on Broadway. I’ve seen the show three times over the years and do enjoy it, with the impressive dancing and memorable songs.

A film version was always going to be a little strange in a different way really as making people look and act like Cats isn’t exactly normal. I know the initial reactions to this trailer haven’t been good but I am actually rather impressed with the way they have done it. Plus we get Jennifer Hudson singing Memory and that is going to be amazing!

Cineworld Secret Screenings 1-10

Back in 2013 Cineworld started doing Secret Screenings for Unlimited members and by 2018 we had reached the 10th Secret Screening. In the past week we have had announcements for two taking place in July 2019! So I thought this was the best time to have a look back at the first ten films we got as special previews.

Cineworld have slightly changed the way they used to do them as for the early ones we got clues over the week building up to the screening date, but they stopped doing that and changed the running time and standard age of 15. This meant that we had a child free preview of Incredibles 2 and that was quite frankly outstanding!

Something they usually do in a very clever way is having the screenings not long before a huge release and people get taken in that it is going to be that film (yes, thinking about to Star Wars and it was actually In the Heart of the Sea). Not forgetting that we have also had a preview of a film that went on to become the Best Picture Oscar winner, Green Book. So we have certainly had many different genres in the Secret Screenings.

Poster: Avenger Series

The up and coming End Game is going to be the fourth Avengers film and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to take a look at the main character posters for each film. How we have plenty more within the Universe and how they have changed.

I actually think I love the End game one the most, Inifity War is a little bit disappointing I feel. Age of Ultron shows how crazy the film was going to be.

October 2017 at the Cinema

As we are approaching the last few months of 2017 I honestly don’t think the standard of films is improving too much in all honesty, I am sure you will see exactly why when looking at the seven films that I went to see during October.

The number of films I went to see was 7 and this then cost £2.55 per film as the Unlimited Card at Cineworld is £17.90 per month.
